Sorolla, Master of Light
Discover the artwork of Joaquín Sorolla, the leading figure of Spanish impressionism, by visiting his spectacular house-museum, one of the most charming places in Madrid.
The Sorolla Museum was the home of the painter and his family since 1911 and the artworks are distributed throughout the house. The painting collection coexists with the original furniture and objects of the house, making it one of the best preserved artist’s houses in Europe.
Visiting the Sorolla Museum and its beautiful garden, will offer you a positive and enriching emotional and aesthetic experience.
